Handcrafted Legends from Bali
John Hardy
Founded in 1975 amidst the rich cultural heritage of Bali, John Hardy began as a community of artisans dedicated to preserving traditional Balinese jewelry-making techniques. Inspired by the island’s natural beauty and spiritual symbolism, the brand quickly became known for its bold, hand-woven chains and deeply symbolic designs. Each piece is crafted by hand, using time-honored methods such as wax carving, weaving, and hand-hammering—transforming precious metals into wearable works of art.
John Hardy's commitment extends beyond design to sustainable luxury. The brand uses reclaimed silver and ethically sourced materials, and has pioneered initiatives like its “Wear Bamboo, Plant Bamboo” program—honoring nature through both craft and conservation.
Today, John Hardy remains rooted in its Ubud workshop, where master artisans continue to create meaningful, distinctive jewelry that reflects the strength, soul, and storytelling of its island origins.
